Share Settings

The following provides ShareFile admins with the information necessary to manage the default share link option for users.

To change the share settings:

1. Navigate to Account settings.

2. Select Advanced Preferences.

3. Select File Settings

4. Go to Share settings.

5. Select which users are able to share files with.

6. Choose defauls when users share files.

7. Save your changes.

   

NOTES:

• ShareFile administrators have granular control over how files are stored, shared, and secured.

• Disabling the four options will disable the Get a link option and will only allow to send to specific people.
