Terms and conditions

ShareFile administrators can require users to accept customized terms and conditions before they can access an account. When terms and conditions are enabled, users see the configured terms when they sign in. Users must accept the terms before they can continue to the account.

Requirements:

  • The administrator requesting the configuration must have the Admin Account Policies permission.

  • ShareFile Support must configure the terms and conditions. Administrators can't fully configure this setting in the ShareFile user interface.

To request terms and conditions for your account:

  1. Ensure that you have the Admin Account Policies permission.
  2. Prepare the text for the terms and conditions that you want users to review and accept.
  3. Contact ShareFile Support and request that terms and conditions be enabled for your account.
  4. Provide the terms and conditions content to Support for configuration.

To locate the terms and conditions setting:

  1. From your ShareFile dashboard, go to Account settings > Security > Security policy > Terms and conditions.
