Sessions

The Sessions page displays a detailed overview of all your currently active sessions in your ShareFile account.

Each session includes the following information:

  • Device type used - Indicates the platform or device associated with the session.
  • Session created - Shows when the session was initiated, expressed in relative time.
  • Session refreshed - Displays the last time the session was refreshed or active.
  • Location - Provides the geographical location tied to the session.
  • IP address - Shows the IP address associated with the session.
  • Applications accessed during the session - List the ShareFile applications used during that session.

To view active sessions:

  1. From your ShareFile dashboard, click the user icon located in the upper right corner of the screen.

  2. Select Personal settings from the dropdown options.

  3. Select Sessions.

You can sign out of any session you dont recognize or trust.

Account Administrators have the ability to manage active ShareFile sessions for both employee users and client contacts. See Manage Sessions for guidance.
