Icon overlays in ShareFile for Mac

Files and folders have an icon overlay that represents the status of that item. The following defines what each icon overlay represents:

• The file or folder is checked out.

  

• The file has an error. For some errors, hovering over the icon may provide additional context for the error.

  

  NOTE:

  If an item goes into an error state, the edit permissions are removed to prevent actions that prevent syncing the file to the cloud.
