Update due date in Projects

Users can select the due date option when project timelines shift — for example, if tasks are delayed, client submissions are pending, or new resources are added.

  • The Resource Owner or Project Admin can change the due date from the project header or settings panel.
  • Once updated, the new due date automatically updates all resource-level reminders (for Document Requests, Information Requests, and Tasks) linked to the project timeline.
  • Users assigned to those resources will receive updated reminder notifications based on the new schedule.

Key notes:

  • Only Owners or Admins can change project due dates.

  • Due date changes are logged in the project activity feed for visibility.

  • Updating the due date does not automatically mark overdue items as complete.
