Create a Request List using AI

Create from Project

To create a Request List from the Projects menu using AI:

1. From your ShareFile account, go to Projects.

2. Select Create project to start a new project. Or, open the project where you want to create the Request List.

3. From the Project dashboard, go to the Tasks tab.

4. Click Create request > Request List > Create with AI.

   The 'Create with AI' window displays.

   NOTE:

   Request Lists can be created from scratch (blank) or using pre-populated templates.

5. From the 'Create with AI' window:

   1. Enter a Request name.
   2. Set a Due date (optional)
   3. Type or select the industry you work in
   4. Specify your role in the industry
   5. Give details on what is the purpose of the request

   TIP:

   The more precise you are with your prompt the more likely you are to get relevant recommended items.

6. Select Generate items. The following message is displayed to indicate that the items for your request are being generated.

   The Generating items for you request... displays.

7. Review the recommended list of items generated by AI and select the items you would like to include in your request list.

   NOTE:

   If required, click on Edit details to change the details and re-generate the list

8. Select Create Request.

   The request list is created as a draft with the name, due date and the recommended items you had selected in the previous step.

Create from Tasks

To create a new Request List from the Tasks menu using AI:

1. From your ShareFile account, go to Tasks > Request Lists.

2. Select Create with AI. The 'Create with AI' window displays.

3. From the 'Create with AI' window:

   1. Enter a Name.
   2. Set a Due date (optional)
   3. Select a project Location

   NOTE:

   By default, the Request List is created in the Tasks workspace. You can choose to create the task within a project; if no location is selected, the Request List is created as a standalone task. Standalone tasks cannot be moved to a project after creation. If the task should belong to a project, be sure to select the project during creation.

   1. Select from the drop down options the industry you work in
   2. Select from the drop down options your role in the industry
   3. Give details on what is the purpose of the request

4. Select Generate items.

5. Review the recommended list of items generated by AI and select the items you would like to include in your request list.

6. Select Create Request. The Request List is created.
