Edit Account Appearance

Employee users with the Edit Account Appearance permission set can edit the appearance of the ShareFile login page for your account.

To customize the appearance of your ShareFile account:

  1. From your ShareFile dashboard, go to Account settings.
  2. Under Account and Reporting, select Edit Company Branding.
  3. In the Edit Account Appearance section, modify your account's appeareance using either the Basic or Advanced options.

Basic Options

Basic options include:

  • Page title - You can change the page title that appears at the top of the browser window. Default: ShareFile - Where companies connect.
  • Logo - Upload a company logo that is different from the account header logo. The logo must not exceed 80 px in height and 400 px in width. Valid file extensions are .jpg, .jpeg, .bmp, .gif, .ico and .png.
  • Logo background color - Change the background color displayed behind the logo. If no color is selected, the logo background remains transparent.
  • Brand color - Match your ShareFile account to your brand. To support accessibility, we may adjust colors in some areas.
  • Change the Header Background Color
  • Change the Accent Color.

NOTE:

Changing the logo background color impacts the Client Portal.

Advanced appearance options

Users that have the Edit Account Appearance permission assigned can edit:

  • Browser Options - Customize the account appearance by updating the page title and favicon.
  • Header Options - Edit the logo and background image displayed in the account appearance.
  • Page Options - Set the accent bar color at the top of tabs and content boxes.
  • Login Page Options - Upload a logo, select a logo background color, choose a page background color and upload a background image.
  • Email Options - Upload a logo and add custom header and footer descriptions for email communications.

NOTES:

  • The logo image must be no taller than 80px and no wider than 400px
  • The background image can be any size, but only display the first 80 vertical pixels and will tile/repeat horizontally and vertically.
  • The default background color is white but any HTML color code can be used. If both a color and an image are entered, the image displays, and not the color.
