  2. Click Create request > Form > Create from template.

    NOTE:

    • Forms can also be created from scratch (blank).

Create a Form from Tasks

To create a Form using a template from the Tasks menu:

  1. From your ShareFile account, go to Tasks > Forms.

  2. Select Create from a template.

    NOTE:

Before using a template, you must install it. Browse the Catalog for available templates and click Install to add the desired template to your selection.

  3. Choose your preferred template and click Use template. The Create Form window displays.

  4. From the Create Form window, select a project Location (optional). Then, click Create Form.

    NOTE:

By default, the form is created in the Tasks workspace. You can choose to create the task within a project; if no location is selected, the form is created as a standalone task. Standalone tasks cannot be moved to a project after creation. If the task should belong to a project, be sure to select the project during creation.

Your new form will now use the same structured field definitions as the chosen template.
