Edit or Change Signer Email Address
This article explains how to change the signer’s email address for a document that has already been sent for signature. A signer’s email address can be edited by the document sender as long as the document is still pending and the signer has not viewed the document.
To edit the signer’s email address:
- Log into RightSignature.
- Open the Documents page.
- In the search bar, click Filter and select Pending from the drop-down menu.
- Click to open the document you wish to edit the signer’s email address.
- Next to People Involved on the document Overview page, click Manage.
- Click Edit next to the signer’s email address.
- Enter a new email address and click Save in order to send the document out to the updated email address.
Note:
After editing a signer’s email address, the link sent out to the original email address will no longer be valid.
