Cloning an item

You can clone a single item in your Podio apps to create a copy of any item you would like to re-use. Cloning an item could be useful if you’d like to reproduce the data in a Deliverable item, a Meeting where you’d like to re-use the info, or perhaps for a checklist to be used again.

You can clone the item via the “Actions” dropdown menu at the top when viewing an item. Cloning an item will get you into the item creator for the new item, and from there you can make any necessary changes to the item before saving.

Notes:

Tasks, files, and comments will not be included in the cloned item.
The clone item tool can only clone the item within the original app. It is not possible to clone an item into a separate app.
