Changing or adding a domain
People joining Podio with an email address in the same domain will be added to the same Employee Network so that they can keep in touch within the company (and perhaps get out of those inefficient and seemingly endless internal email threads).
Benefits of adding a company email domain to your organization
- Auto-join employees automatically to the same organization and employee network
- Enforce Single-Sign on using Google Workspace or O365 to ensure secure login using your company email address
External members can be clients and collaborative partners external to your company. These members possess restricted access, such as participation within the employee network, organizational administration roles, or workspace creation privileges.
Paid employee users can create workspaces and be upgraded as organization admins.
If an external member needs to have employee-level permissions to collaborate further on items, an organizational administrator can upgrade them to employee status.

External members can be clients or collaboration partners outside your company
External members can be invited to join your Podio organization, but they will not be considered employees. This means that they will not be added to the Employee Network, they will not have access to all workspaces, and they will not be billed as employees. Note: If the user has the same email domain as the admin, they will be charged as an internal employee, not an external client.
