What are the file types that can be used with AI document assistant?

Supported file types are PDFs, and DOCX files.

Are there file size restrictions?

Yes, files larger than 20MB are not currently supported for Q&A sessions.

Are there any character limit restrictions?

Yes, files with more than 400K characters will not be supported for Q&A sessions.

Are AI document assistant conversations encrypted?

Yes, all AI document assistant conversations are encrypted.

How many questions a user can ask before hitting the limit?

200 questions per user per day and 1000 questions per account per day.

Does ShareFile use or store any of my data for its AI capabilities?

No, ShareFile does not use the file content, questions, or generated summaries or responses to train underlying AI/ML technologies.

Can files stored on-prem be summarized using this feature?

No, the AI document assistant feature is only available for files stored in the cloud.
