ShareFile is investing in innovation that simplifies access to security controls natively within the ShareFile product. At the same time, we are re-envisioning the security controls to meet the needs of our customers and how they interact with clients.

We heard from customers about the challenges of onboarding ShareFile to the Citrix Analytics service, and the administrative overhead in managing security controls outside of the ShareFile user interface. We are making changes to simplify the experience.

What’s happening

Starting November 3rd, ShareFile admins and employee users on your account will have access to new threat detection and remediation features directly within ShareFile. This includes brand new security features like threat detection, threat alerts, visibility into user activity details, and remediation actions for suspicious user activity.

You will be able to utilize these new security capabilities directly within ShareFile. As a result, the ShareFile integration with Citrix Analytics service in Citrix Cloud will end on November 20th.

The new ShareFile security features provide both your admins and employees with visibility into threats on your data, and the ability to take easy actions to remediate threats. Users will be able to quickly see all file activity, and take actions like:

Sign out a user or send a link to reset their password
Make access view-only or remove access from all folders
See activity history on documents such as download frequency
