FAQ – New Signer Experience

We’re excited to introduce a fresh, latest look and feel for the Signer experience! This update is designed to make document signing smoother, faster, and more accessible across all devices.

To make your transition seamless, we’ve compiled answers to the most frequently asked questions. If you are wondering what is changing, when it’s coming, or how it impacts your workflow, this FAQ document provides the most common questions (with answers) from the folks using the new Signer Experience.

What is the New Signer Experience?

The New Signer Experience is a redesigned, modern interface that offers a smoother, more intuitive signing flow. It’s optimized for all devices and aligns with modern accessibility standards, making it more inclusive and easier to use. The new experience will replace the current one in April and June 2025.

When will the New Signer Experience be available?

We’re releasing the New Signer Experience in phases. Some accounts may already have the new Signing experience enabled. If not, it will be enabled in your account by mid-June.

Is any action required from me?

No action is needed on your part. The transition is automatic. You can relax while we take care of everything behind the scenes.

Which Signature requests will have the New Signer Experience?

Any new signature requests sent through ShareFile and Right Signature will now open with the New Signer Experience.

However, a few flows will continue using the Old Signer Experience temporarily:

  1. Template Share Links and Web Embed Links (Web Embed links via Public APIs would also have the Old Signer experience).
  2. Sign in person workflows from Right Signature.
  3. Signing flows started directly from within the Right Signature application.
  4. Signature requests with Knowledge-Based Authentication (KBA) from both ShareFile and Right Signature (these will transition to the new experience in upcoming releases).

Will this affect how I or my recipients receive, sign, or complete documents?

No. The document delivery and signing process remain the same. Only the look and feel of the signer interface will change.

What happens to my existing or in-progress Signature requests?

Signature requests that were sent before the New Signer Experience was introduced will continue to use the Old Signer Experience. Any new requests sent after the launch will automatically use the New Signer Experience.

What if my signers face issues with the new experience?

While we expect the transition to be smooth, signers will have the option to switch back to the Old Signer Experience by selecting More Options at the top of the screen by clicking on Switch to Old Experience during the signing process.

How can I provide feedback on the new experience?
