Connection Manager

ShareFile allows you to manage the account-wide connections that you create for your account. You can install and uninstall connections from popular third-party applications.

Prerequisites

  • ShareFile Premium account owner

Install a connection

Use the following instructions to install a connection.

  1. In your ShareFile web-app, navigate to Settings > Admin Settings > Connection Manager.

  2. Select from the list of available Connections.

    The item selected opens to allow you to create a connection.

  3. Select Create connection.

  4. Type in a name for the connection and click Continue.

  5. Sign into the application.

  6. Follow the prompts to connect the application to ShareFile.

Uninstall a connection

Use the following instructions to uninstall a connection.

  1. In your ShareFile web-app, navigate to Settings > Admin Settings > Connection Manager.

  2. Select from the list of available Connections.

    The item selected opens to allow you to manage the connection.

  3. Select Delete.

    The confirmation message displays.

  4. Select Continue.

    The connected application is uninstalled and requires a new connection to be used again.
