Edit or delete Client Hub custom fields

Article applies to:

  • ShareFile Employee users (account Administrator)

To edit or delete custom fields:

  1. Go to Account settings > Client hub management > Custom fields.
  2. Click the “…” (three-dot menu) next to the Field key:

  3. Select Edit or Delete.
    1. Edit - Update the Name or Field type as needed. Then, click Save.
    2. Delete - Check the box to confirm acknowledgment that the data entered in the field will be lost. Then, click Delete to confirm.

      NOTE:

      Deleting an existing custom field removes the field and the content of the field for all existing clients or contacts.
