Respond to a Document Request

  • Client contact (external user)

Clients can follow the steps below to respond to a document request from a service provider.

  1. Once you receive a document request in your email, select View document request.

    Email

  2. From the ShareFile login screen, enter your email and password to authenticate. Then select Sign in:

    Sign in

    ShareFile navigates to the document request with all items that are part of it.

  3. Click an item to review its details.

  4. Upload the files requested in that item.

  5. Click Submit for review.

    Submit

  6. Repeat the upload and submit steps for any remaining items.

Once you submit an item, its status changes to Completed.
