Azure SAML/SSO Setup

Azure Setup

  1. In the Azure portal, on the ShareFile application integration page, find the Manage section and select single sign-on.
  2. On the Select a single sign-on method page, select SAML.
  3. On the Set up single sign-on with SAML page, click the pencil icon for Basic SAML Configuration to edit the settings.

Section 1

On the Basic SAML Configuration section, perform the following steps: In the Identifier (Entity ID) textbox, type https://yoursubdomain.sharefile.com/saml/info In the Reply URL textbox, type https://yoursubdomain.sharefile.com/saml/acs In the Sign-on URL text box, type https://yoursubdomain.sharefile.com/saml/login

Section 2

Leave as defaults.

Section 3

On the Set up Single Sign-On with SAML page, in the SAML Signing Certificate section, click Download to download the Certificate (Base64) from the given options as per your requirement and save it on your computer.

Section 4

On the Set up ShareFile section, copy the appropriate URL(s) as per your requirements.

ShareFile Side Navigate to Security -> Login & Security Policy, Basic Settings.

  1. ShareFile Issuer / Entity ID: Copy from Azure Section 1> Identifier(Entity ID).
  2. Your IDP Issuer / Entity ID: Copy from Azure Section 4> Azure AD Identifier.
  3. X.509 Certificate: Paste from the downloaded certificate on Azure Section 3> certificate (Base64); Include beginning and End.
  4. Login URL: Copy from Azure Section 4> Login URL.
  5. SP-Initiated Auth Context: Set to “User Name and Password” and “Exact”.

Scroll down and click save.

Have user login using Single Sign On.
