The following steps show how to cleanly uninstall ShareFile for Windows to fix issues that can not be resolved by resetting the application.

How to Cleanly uninstall the ShareFile for Windows

Make sure to exit ShareFile for Windows. Find the blue ShareFile icon in the bottom right hand corner of your screen near where the time and date is and right click it and select exit. If you do not see the icon check under the white up arrow in the same area.
Then use the Microsoft fix it tool uninstaller to uninstall ShareFile for Windows
Navigate to the following file path: C:\Program Files\ShareFile\ShareFile for Windows
Delete the ShareFile for Windows folder.
Then open regedit with Windows and go to local machine(Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ShareFile\ShareFile for Windows).
Delete the ShareFile for Windows folder inside the ShareFile folder in the registry path.
Go to the current user (Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\ShareFile\ShareFile for Windows)
Delete the ShareFile for Windows folder inside the ShareFile folder in the registry path
Then reboot the computer and try to reinstall ShareFile for Windows.
