Access the Content analytics for visibility into the flow of client information.

On the ShareFile dashboard, content analytics is found in the Most active folders tile.

Adding Most active folders

Use the following instructions to add the Most Active folders tile to your dashboard.

ShareFile dashboard tiles

Select Edit Dashboard. The Edit Dashboard pop-up displays.
Use the toggle to enable Most active folders.
Select Save.

The Most active folders tile displays on your ShareFile dashboard.

Tip:

Once saved, you can use your cursor to drag and drop the tiles around in the dashboard to customize your view.

Most active folders tile

The ShareFile dashboard provides quick insights and information using categorized tiles. The latest tile, Most active folder, includes the following functions and abilities:

Current day activity tracking - provides today’s top client and internal folders with activity like file added and last edited.
Last 7 days activity tracking - displays the last seven days worth of top client and internal folder activity including file or folder added, size, last modified and the latest creator.

Folder analytics

You can now leverage Content Analytics on Shared Folders. The Activity tab provides a quick view of the most active folders based on recent actions enabling employee users to gain deeper insights into client activity. Folder analytics can be used as a digital paper trail.

Add most active tile

Use the Activity tab to achieve the following:

Activity details - provides details of content activity, who performed that activity, plus time and location of their access.
Aggregated client folder insights - provides both the employee and the client the view of recent file activity according to the user that modified a document: edit, upload, and download.
